My name is Arlene Morell. All my life I had dreamt of living in New York City. The city life drew me to make the leap and move there in my early twenties. How can I really explain the lifestyle? The opportunities seem endless.

Most people will tell you when they go to New York they went to see all the attractions: The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, or Times Square. These are awesome places to visit, but since I have been living here I don't frequent them. I love to go out dancing with my friends at all the clubs that we have here. The nightlife of New York is definitely one of its strong suits. My favorite club is called Bossa Nova. The crowd there is pretty classy as well. You don't have a bunch of guys hitting on your constantly. The venue also has a tropical spin on a lot of its cocktails. What girl doesn't like fruity cocktails, right? For food, my friends and I love going to this place called Gotham. The place has amazing food and is in a relaxed environment. When it's nice outside, I love to take my dog Arthur through Central Park. I'm an avid runner and enjoy the little trip from the city. It can be nice to get away from all the big buildings once and a while. Central Park helps break up the monotony. It reminds me a bit of home.

Now, on to more important hotspots of New York. New York isn't always a pleasant place to roam about in the winter. My friends and I retreat to the Manhattan mall to do most of our shopping. With three stories to indulge your every shopping desire, the Manhattan mall and I fell in love the first time I ventured there. So there you have it. I live to shop, eat, and dance in the greatest city on planet earth: New York.
